Dr. Kim Knap is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in supporting children, teens, and young adults. She received her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of South Florida and has extensive experience working with children and families with a variety of concerns including ADHD, challenging behaviors and emotional dysregulation, anxiety, attention and executive functioning deficits, autism spectrum disorder, and parenting/postpartum concerns. She also has a passion for working with young adults navigating college and other life transitions that come along with early adulthood.
When working with young children, rather than focusing solely on the child, Dr. Knap works closely with parents to provide practical strategies that create lasting change at home. She uses a family-centered approach that helps parents feel confident in addressing attention and behavioral challenges while strengthening their bond with their child. She knows that when parents have the right tools, children experience more stability, resilience, and growth.
