Angelina Venetto, M.A.
Doctoral Intern in School Psychology
Hello! I enjoy helping people better understand their learning, behavior, emotions, or school-related challenges. My work often focuses on concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, social skills, executive functioning, school stress, and adjustment across developmental stages, from preschool through high school and into college.
As a school psychology intern, I provide therapy, psychological and psychoeducational assessment, and group support for students and families. My training has centered on understanding how children and adolescents function across home, school, and social settings, and helping families identify the support that best fits their child’s needs.
My approach is warm, humorous, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use evidence-based strategies while tailoring care to each child, teen, or young adult’s developmental level and goals. With younger children, I incorporate play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches. With older students, I focus on building insight, confidence, coping skills, and tools they can use in everyday life.
I strive to create a supportive space where students and families feel understood, encouraged, and better equipped to move forward.

best part about my job:
The best part of my job at Tampa Pediatric Psychology is having the opportunity to work directly with children and families to help build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills while supporting families in strengthening their relationships. I value the opportunity to create a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive both at home and at school, and where families can work together to overcome challenges, fostering positive growth and lasting change. Additionally, the best part about working at Tampa Pediatric Psychology is being supported by a warm, knowledgeable, and vibrant group of clinicians!
